Population
Estimated population is <50 (2010).
Status CR
Presumed extinct. Last reliable sighting of one male and females was in May 1964 on islands south of Vladivostok, Russia. Unsubstantiated reports from north-eastern China (1970's, 1980's) and southern China (1990).
