Habitat
Moist grassland, particularly near streams, rivers, drainage lines and grassy depressions. From 800 - 1,500 m.

Range (Guide)

Angola (B) (NB), Congo [The Democratic Republic of the] (B) (NB), Zambia (B) (NB).

Southern DRCongo south to west-central and eastern Angola and extreme north-western Zambia.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).

Status DD
Habitat destruction through burning and other un-favourable grassland management regimes, is the main threat.

Voice
A high-pitched, trilling 'swee-ee-ee-ee-ee'.
