Coastal eastern Australia from south-eastern Queensland (Dawes Range area) south to south-eastern New South Wales (to area due east of about Canberra).

Food
Omnivorous. Mainly fruit, but also flowers, buds, leaves, stems and seeds, and some small animals, mainly invertbrates, but also tree frogs and nestling birds.

Nest
Bowl-shaped, composed of long twigs and vine-stems entwined around a layer of broad leaves, occasionally moss, lined with fine twigs, usually placed in dense foliage in the crown of a small tree, or in a vine-tangle, from 3 - 10 m above the ground.
Eggs (Guide)
1 - 3, usually 2; slightly lustrous, plain cream or cream-buff; oval; about 39 - 44 x 25 - 30 mm. Incubation: 23 - 24 days; by female.
