Rondônia, in south-western Amazonian Brazil; known only from the type locality, on western bank of R Jiparaná.

Estimated population is 2,500 - 9,999 (2010) and decreasing.
Status VU
Habitat destruction and degradation through highway construction and commercial logging, is the main threat.
