Subspecies
Myrmeciza laemosticta has been split into Dull-mantled Antbird (Sipia laemosticta) and Magdalena Antbird (Sipia palliata) following SACC (2011).
Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Dull-mantled Antbird (Sipia laemosticta).
