Habitat
Rocky areas, subtropical and tropical high altitude grassland. From 3,300 - 4,500 m.

Range (Guide)
Argentina, Bolivia, Peru.

Southern Peru (southern Cuzco and Puno) south through highlands of Bolivia (La Paz, western Cochabamba, eastern Oruro, eastern Potosí­ and western Tarija) to north-western Argentina (Jujuy, highlands of Salta, Tucumán and Catamarca).
