Rarity Status
Currently this species is not classified as a rarity in this country OR information has not been updated.
Status EX
Common in the 1890s, it became extinct over the first half of the 20th century, although the last record was in Kamakou Preeserve in 1963. Extinction was probably due to habitat destruction and disease.
