Habits
Singly, in pairs, and occasionally small groups of up to five. Forages in mixed species flocks.

Invertebrates, particularly caterpillars.
Voice
Song is loud 'wip'ip'ip-wiu-wiu-wiu-wiu-wiu-wiu-wiu' (usually 7-8 'wiu' notes).
