Subspecies
No subspecies.
Cliff Flycatcher (Hirundinea ferruginea) and Swallow Flycatcher (Hirundinea bellicosa) (Sibley and Monroe 1990, 1993) have been lumped into Hirundinea ferruginea following SACC (2005).
Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Cliff Flycatcher (Hirundinea ferruginea).
