by and one of several cloud forest sites in the Amalfi-Anor\u00ed region of the northern Central cordillera where we've discovered this rare bird, which was provisionally reported as *M. caniceps* (rightly so!) in [Ornitolog\u00eda Neotropical {2008}19:495\u2013515](http:\/\/www.museum.lsu.edu\/cuervo\/pubs_files\/Cuervo_etalON2008.pdf). Subspecies
Probably most closely related to Atlantic Grey Elaenia (Myiopagis caniceps).
The following 3 subspecies are recognised:
coopmansi Cuervo, Stiles, Lentino, Brumfield & Derryberry, 2014 - Northern Central Andes of Colombia (Antioquia).
