Habitat
Pelagic. Sea-cliffs and rocky offshore islands.
Argentina, Chile, Falkland Islands (Malvinas).
Vagrant to Brazil.
Extreme southern tip of southern America, breeding off southern Chile and Tierra del Fuego.

Population
Estimated population is 10,000 - 500,000 (2010).
Status LC
Declining due to predation by introduced species and human activities at breeding sites.
