Nest
An untidy platform of sticks, feathers and other debris, located on top of a low bush or in trees, or on the ground when vegetation is absent. In colonies close to nests of other breeding seabirds.

Eggs (Guide)
1; white; ellipsoidal.

Subspecies
Possible subspecies (not yet accepted) are magnificens (Galapagos), lowei (Cape Verde) and rothschildi (elsewhere) supposedly separable on length of wing, tail or bill.

No subspecies.
