Habitat
Subtropical and tropical lowland dry shrubland. Also, subtropical and tropical lowland dry grassland, dry forest, dry savanna. From sea-level - 1,000 m.
Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay.
Eastern Bolivia (Santa Cruz) through Paraguay to northern and central Argentina (south to Río Negro).
