Open, bulky, platform composed of aquatic plants and lined with sheaths and leaves of reeds, in a group of reeds or on top of a low bush growing in water.
Eggs (Guide)
4 - 15; slightly glossy, sandy-grey to bright clay, thickly and uniformly covered with grey-violet speckles and spots; oval; about 52 x 35 mm. Incubation: 21 - 26 days; by both sexes.
