Habitat
Dense riparian forest in foothills to about 1,500 m. Also bamboo and degraded riparian forest with plentiful shade.

Range (Guide)

Bangladesh (B), Bhutan (B), China (mainland) (B), India (B), Laos (B), Myanmar (B), Nepal (B), Taiwan (China) (B), Vietnam (B).

Himalayas to Indonesia and South East China. Occasionally in Eastern China and Taiwan.
