Habitat
Subtropical and tropical heavily degraded former forest. From sea-level - 1,100 m.
Brazil.
Central-eastern Brazil, from Espírito Santo south to Santa Catarina, and west to Goiás and Mato Grosso; irregularly north to Alagoas, where status uncertain.
