Habitat
Inland freshwater lakes, pools and rivers, and, during the non-breeding season, along rocky coastlines.
Argentina, Chile, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
Mainly coasts of southern Chile, extreme southern Argentina, Tierra del Fuego and Falkland Is.
