Abdomen
  Undersurface of a bird's body, from the top of the sternum to the cloaca
Aberrant
  Abnormal or unusual.
Abrasion
  Wearing down of the feathers
Accidental
  Uncommon visitor, arriving only when blown off course or disorientated; same as Vagrant
Accipiter
  Forest hawk with short, rounded wings and long tails
Acclimation
  Process of adjusting to change in environment, usually temperature
Addled
  The condition of an egg wherein the developing embryo has died, usually in its early stage
Adult
  Bird with fully developed final plumage
Albinistic
